We all know the “unfinished basement”. No matter what you do to spruce it up, it always ends up as the last refuge for unwanted furniture and other discards. The kids don’t mind, but the adults cringe every time they have to go down there.
These homeowners wanted their basement to be a great place for kids and adults… for real family time in a bright, happy space. The vast open space of the unfinished basement was carved up to create separate spaces for TV viewing and playing video games, practicing music, a snack and beverage center and still had enough space left over for a guest bedroom/bathroom and storage room.
