COVID-19 Safety Measures – Our Clients’ & Employees’ Health & Safety Are #1
For 30 years, the health and safety of our clients and employees has always been critically important in the work we do. The COVID-19 Pandemic caused the world to be more thoughtful about health and safety. We have family members who are medical and public health professionals and took our role in the pandemic seriously. Eventhough the CDC has reduced protocols as of May 2023, Bowers Design Build continues to employ common sense health measures including:
- Every Bowers Design Build employee knows that they are not to work when they are ill. We abide by all CDC and local public health guidelines.
- Our office and design staff have flexible work from home guidelines to reduce the spread of any illness.
- We continue to invite our clients to our McLean office for in-person design meetings, but have also perfected video meetings for design presentations as well.
- When we do have design meetings in a client’s home, we defer to a clients comfort level in terms of mask wearing, etc. You will be greeted warmly, but shaking hands is optional.
- Every construction employee has access to face masks on the job and has an ample supply of hand sanitizer, gloves and disinfectant wipes.
- We communicate with our clients to ensure that we are doing all we can to create a safe and healthy environment that meets each clients’ individual needs and circumstances.
